Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of TranslateVid (the “Service”), operated by Imran Assabban (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

TranslateVid lets you translate and dub videos into other languages using automated speech processing, machine translation and AI voice synthesis, and optionally publish the result to third-party platforms. Features, limits and pricing may change over time.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account. You must be at least 16 years old, or the age of digital consent in your country, to use the Service.

3. Your content & rights

You keep ownership of the videos and audio you upload or submit by URL (“Input”) and of the translated output (“Output”). By using the Service you confirm that:

• •You own the Input or have all rights and permissions needed to translate, dub, reproduce and (if you choose) republish it, including the voices of any speakers in it.
• •Your use does not infringe anyone's intellectual property, privacy, publicity or other rights.
• •You grant us a limited licence to process the Input solely to provide the Service (transcription, translation, voice cloning, rendering and delivery).

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• •Clone a person's voice or likeness without their consent, or to impersonate, defraud or mislead.
• •Create unlawful, defamatory, hateful, harassing, sexually exploitative or deceptive content.
• •Infringe intellectual property or violate any law or third-party platform's terms.
• •Attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, scrape or abuse the Service or its rate limits.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, and remove content we reasonably believe is unlawful or abusive.

5. Credits, plans & payments

The Service is billed using credits and/or subscription plans. Credit cost scales with video duration and is shown before you spend. Payments are processed by our Merchant of Record, Lemon Squeezy, which handles billing, taxes and invoicing. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled; you can cancel at any time and keep access until the end of the paid period.

6. Refunds

Paid plans include a 7-day refund if the Service does not work as described. Credits already consumed on rendered videos are non-refundable. Refund requests can be sent to the contact address below.

7. AI output disclaimer

Output is generated automatically and may contain translation, timing or voice inaccuracies. You are responsible for reviewing Output before publishing it. The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

8. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for loss of profits, data or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms; material changes will be reflected by the “last updated” date. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
